A fire had broken out in the adjunct territories of village Berdavan in Tavush region. Two fire brigades of Noyemberyan, Berdavan emergency servicemen, Noyemberyan military unit soldiers, and residents of Berdavan tried to extinguish the fire on August 2.
They managed to save fruit and vegetable gardens, but 10 hectares of vineyards were burnt. Head of Berdavan village, Smbat Mughdusyan, said that part of the burnt vineyard was not being cultivated. According to him, the fire penetrated from the Azerbaijani territory.
Berdavan residents informed that the Azerbaijani armed forces opened fire on the residents trying to extinguish the fire. According to Smbat Mughdusyan, the Azerbaijani army fired tracer bullets to cause a fire.
