On May 5, at 10:01 an emergency call was received to Vayots dzor regional crisis management center that rockfall had occurred on the roadway to Jermuk town, as a result the traffic became one-way passable.
The operative group from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MES of RA dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that 3 cubic meter stones were fell at the beginning of Yerevan-Meghri section of M-2 roadway from Jermuk.
The rescuers implemented road clean-up actions together with the workers of “Vayk RSC” CJSC: the roadway became two-way passable.
