“It has not been mentioned once that Azerbaijan will decide when there will be elections in Armenia and who will come to power. And they will do everything to cause great damage to Armenia. They will lead the process in such a way that we will forget about Artsakh,” said Tevan Poghosyan, the chair of the International Center for Human Development. According to him, after these elections, Armenia’s already very weak position has become weaker.
“What should be done? In my opinion, we should be reminded about the Artsakh issue every day. I would also suggest that the Artsakh National Assembly adopt the law on Azerbaijan’s occupation with all its legal and political consequences, and then initiate the process of recognizing Artsakh in the future. Otherwise, our enemies will be able to advance their problems. They will not back down from any of their plans, and as I said, one day they will come after Zangezur, Sevan the next day, and Yerevan the next day.

“Today’s authorities have shown the international community that we can be pressured as much as we want. They do not realize the consequences of their actions once. So, they will press again, and they will tell us to give them more maps. You see, if from the beginning this issue was in the topic of negotiations, Muradov said, give me the maps and I will return everyone, they said that there are no maps. But it turned out that maps were found for others. But the world is not stupid. The return of our 15 boys was great for us. But that is not the joy of the world. The joy is that they have found the weak link, they have realized that when they need it, they will be pressured to succeed.
