“Current events do not create a basis for discouragement. Especially since we do not have that right. Yes, we failed to cause a complete regime change, but we do not have the right to avoid appreciating the fact that we were able to break the political monopoly that formed in the country and have a significant opposition faction in parliament,” the head of the Armenia alliance faction, Seyran Ohanyan, said during the session of parliament.
He said, “Our political agenda and goals have not been exhausted. We have a serious political responsibility and debt towards our 270,000 voters. In reality, the responsibility is even larger. We are responsible for our country and the citizens whose discouragement did not allow them to vote. This responsibility demands that we continue the fight and use the whole toolkit of the parliamentary and extra-parliamentary struggle to serve it.”
