Civil society organisations across Armenia are stepping up collaboration to better support refugee communities—tackling challenges from employment access to social inclusion and protection.
With a strong focus on people and processes, a recent a networking event held in Gyumri brought together organisations working in refugee response and women’s empowerment to strengthen co-ordination, share practical experiences, and increase the effectiveness of support.
An interactive expo highlighted innovative, practical solutions developed by civil society actors across the country—showing what’s possible when experience meets collaboration.
Impact is already visible through the Council of Europe support:
400+ women and girls, including refugees, have gained access to vocational training, job opportunities, small business support, and tailored assistance to rebuild their lives.
