On May 21, at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, received Janez Lenarčič, Head of the Observation Mission of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) in Armenia.
During the meeting, reference was made to the current socio-political situation in Armenia during the pre-election period, the need to ensure the peaceful and transparent conduct of electoral processes, as well as the importance of preserving an atmosphere of public trust and solidarity.
