Speech by NA Vice President Candidate Hayk Konjoryan
On August 3, the National Assembly continued the first session of the ninth convocation.
The Parliament began debating the issue of electing three NA Vice Presidents.
The member of the NA Civil Contract Faction Artur Hovhannisyan presented the biographical data and activities of the candidate for the NA Vice President Hayk Konjoryan.

In his speech, Hayk Konjoryan thanked the NA Civil Contract Faction for nominating his candidacy for this important position. “This is a great honor, a great responsibility,” Hayk Konjoryan underscored and added that he highly appreciates the nomination of him by the Faction for the position of the NA Vice President.
“The parliamentary elections of June 7, 2026 were exceptional in that these were the first nationwide elections in the history of independent Armenia, when we held the elections in peaceful conditions. Our main message to the RA citizens was: stand up for peace,” Hayk Konjoryan said.
According to him, the elections of June 7, 2026 were a turning point: the people stood up for peace and people’s power in peaceful conditions.
Hayk Konjoryan answered the MPs’ questions. The MPs expressed their views on the issue.
The National Assembly will continue the debate of the issue on August 4 at 10 AM.
