Is the pre-term election in the interest of the RPA?

Yesterday in Gyumri representative of the Armenian National Congress Davit Shahnazaryan called for preparing for the pre-term election at the meeting with the ANC activists. During a conversation with Radio Liberty, commenting on the statement made on the same day by deputy chairman of the Republican Party Galust Sahakyan that the pre-term election was in the interest of the RPA, because the RPA would undoubtedly win that election again, the ANC representative responded, “If the Armenian National Congress does not win the lawful, free, fair election, the Armenian National Congress will be ready to congratulate and will congratulate that government, because the main issue that we put forward today is the establishment of the lawful, i.e. legitimate government. However, it is good that the authorities have already been internally discussing, as you have said, I am not familiar with that publication, the issue of the pre-term presidential election. I assess that fact very positively.”
