Negotiations on the Karabakh conflict settlement will not yield any results, while Azerbaijan is a member of the UN Security Council, Kiro Manoyan, an official at the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) Bureau Hay Dat and Political Issues Office, said to www.aravot.am. According to him, Azerbaijan, as a member of the UN Security Council, will try to transfer that issue there.
Mr. Manoyan is convinced that the statement of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs not to put off the Karabakh conflict settlement anymore is not a solution, “I would say it is another statement, because they have made such statements in these months, during international meetings, regularly since 2009. Therefore, expecting that their statement will bring about something new is not grounded. I think that the main goal is to prevent a war.”
