We informed that according to Ruben Hakobyan, the leader of the Heritage Party parliamentary group, once there was a decision on the return of A1+, there would be progress, Heghine Bisharyan responded, “I am convinced that the time will come when that opportunity will be offered.”
In response to our question regarding giving 20-minute broadcasting time to A1+ whether A1+ would be able to provide free information, Ms. Bisharyan stated, “It is more a professional issue. But I think no one will restrain A1+ saying what they must talk about during those 20 minutes. I think they will not lose face. They have struggled so consistently and correctly for so many years that I am sure they will save their face.”
Let us note that yesterday’s meeting of the National Assembly ended with Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) MP Margarit Yesayan’s question to Alexan Harutyunyan, the chairman of the Public Television council, “Mr. Harutyunyan, the end of your term in office approaches, if I am not mistaken, have you who has chaired the Public Television council for so many years found out for yourself before leaving whether you have done everything necessary to ensure high-quality broadcasting, particularly given the fact that the institution you head is the only one that exists on taxpayers’ money and is the most accountable to the society? And generally, will you leave with a clear conscience?”

Most probably Mr. Harutyunyan will answer this question during the next four-day session.
