On January 25, the State Youth Orchestra of Armenia marks its 10th anniversary. On this occasion, a Polish composer and conductor Krzysztof Penderecki will arrive in Yerevan. “I have first listened to the Youth Orchestra two years ago. It was the time when I enjoyed my symphony performed by them. In these two years, I am following their work and I can say that their conductor Sergey Smbatyan and the entire staff are constantly improving and I see a great progress.
Last year, I attended Sergey’s stage performing in Poland and I am sure that a great future expects to Sergey, which is obvious now,” said the renowned musician referring to the founding director and principal conductor Sergey Smbatyan.
