When I see a plastic bottle thrown on the sidewalks, I raise it and throw it into the trash. And what do the concentrated people do?
Option number one (“pro-American”). Since Armenia is the colony of Russia and Russia has always pursued a two-faced and treacherous policy towards us, this is how our sidewalks would look like. This bottle is one of the most striking manifestations of Russian imperialism.
Option number two (“grumblers”). What has our once prosperous country become? Where is our “Yeraz” factory? Where is our “Nairit” plant? Everybody has become immoral, girls are wearing too exposed dresses, this is all the fault of Americans to our people. Was the lemonade bottled in such bottles in older times?
Option number three (“opposition”). As long as Serzh Sargsyan holds the presidential post, the plastic bottles will be thrown on our streets. It is necessary to get rid of this criminal regime a day before, return the power to the people and everything will be ideal.

Option number four (“those who are unhappy with the first president”). It is all Levon’s fault. He gave Karabakh to the Turks, made the whole nation a hawker, cold and dark, now, he is preparing a new treason against the Armenian people. These bottles are part of the plot.
Because of the lack of the space, I do not want to continue listing the options, they are several hundred. What I mean is that any concentration and any fixed idea, be it anti-Russian, anti-American or “anti-“s against local politicians significantly limit the possibilities of our thinking and acting by directing them only thru a small canal. If we see in people, the said phenomenon or the said object (the same plastic bottle) only what we want to see in advance, what meets our already existing stereotypes, then we do not adequately perceive the reality.
There is also the other side of this issue here. If I am able to do even a very small step to solve the existing problem, I am obligated to take this step. If I think I know how this problem is solved I must say it calmly, reasoned, without yelling and accusations dictated by dramatic stance.
The bottle is a bottle, the rain is the rain, the sun is the sun. Rather than what we feel when seeing these objects or phenomena.
