On September 18, only non-party Gevorg Nersisyan was nominated for the leader of Voskehat community, Armavir marz. The Central Electoral Commission website informs that he was re-elected for the position of the village mayor by the ratio of 841 votes pros and 27 cons. According to the press release, Gevorg Nersisyan is an “everlasting mayor” and is elected in this position since 2002. He is the brother of His Holiness Karekin II, the Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenian. Aravot.am wanted to ask questions to him but Gevorg Nersisyan told on the phone, “Come and ask the opinion of the community.”
