“There are illogical moves that are emerging in the international relations,” – announced CSTO Secretary General Nikolay Bordyuzha in Yerevan today. He attended the round-table of the discussion on “CSTO’s role in the Eurasian security” just for five minutes. After his opening remarks, Nikolai Bordyuzha left explaining that there are organizational matters regarding the upcoming session of the heads of the CSTO member states.
In the context of “illogical moves”, the CSTO Secretary General illustrated examples without giving names of the states, “We are witnessing a number of controversies between the global players. For example, a state performs from the positions of the fight against terrorism but supplies weapons to the terrorist groups.” The rapporteur believes that now we are living in difficult times that is not exposed to analyzing, therefore, it is no longer easy to create algorithms in the security sphere, “Generally, the global security system is collapsed. The connection and the dialogue between the major international leading players in the fight against terrorism, drug trafficking and other issues are disrupted.”
