“Yuri Khachaturov does not hold that position as a citizen of the Republic of Armenia, but as an international official and has his limitations and rules”, told the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Vigen Sargsyan with reference to Yuri Khachaturov’s appointment as the Collective Security Treaty Organization Secretary General.
tHe believes that having an RA citizen in CSTO Secretary General’s position may equally be a solution to the issues and their aggravation, forasmuch as, e.g. the citizen of the Russian Federation Nikolay Bordyuzha’s and Yuri Khachaturov’s announcements bear different perceptions. “Most of the people will think – he is an RA citizen, what else should he say?” noted Vigen Sargsyan.
