“We enter into a final, triumphant stage, but a more difficult one. We should be more attentive and wise and organized”, Ararat Mirzoyan, a member of the “Yelq” bloc, member of the “Civil Contract” party, announced at the gathering of the members of the “My Step” movement. He reminded the demonstrators that on May National Assembly will elect a prime minister.
“I am sure that the National Assembly will elect Nikol Pashinyan as Prime Minister. After that an interim government should be formed, from which four points should be expected and demanded”, the MP noted, and announced those four requests:
1/The interim government must ensure a wide political solidarity,
2/Natural activity of the country, giving operational economic solutions to the prior problems. We cannot expect economic miracles,
3/Establish mechanisms to reform the electoral system. The Electoral Code should be changed. In addition, some laws need to be reformed, which will have a significant impact on the electoral process,
4/Organize early parliamentary elections.
In the end, Ararat Mirzoyan asked the citizens not to leave them alone in the mentioned process: “We need that we need your support, because they will try to take away the victory from you”.
