“We condemn this practice strictly. The guilty ones should be subjected to responsibility upon law,” said “Yelq” bloc MP Edmon Marukyan, referring to the food and military equipment disclosed due to the searches of the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia in the summer houses of the MP from the Republican Party of Armenia, General Manvel Grigoryan.
The MP thinks that Manvel Grigoryan should not be the only one to be subjected to responsibility for the present situation: “In the days of April War the Police, National Security Service and the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia have coordinated the aid reception, its sending and distribution processes. I do not think that Mr. Grigoryan should be the only one to be punished for what has taken place. The ambulance is not a needle to take and keep somewhere in secret. The ones who knew and kept it secret should also be subjected to responsibility.”
To Aravot.am’s question if the RPA should bear a responsibility which was formerly the government, Edmon Marukyan replied: “Although Manvel Grigoryan is not RPA member, he is a faction member, consequently, the faction should announce about its political position and support the law enforcement bodies to execute justice upon the rules prescribed by law.
“Yelq” bloc MP Alen Simonyan thinks that this is not going to be the first and the last case. He presupposes that other disclosures will come to the fore in the near future as well. “This is the corrupt system in the consequence of which we were fighting by the guns of the 80s,” he said, adding that it is painful to him to discuss Artsakh hero’s question in the context of the present situation.
