“The issue should be considered in the legal context and issues should not be brought to the political field from that context”, referring to the release of the second President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan accused of overthrowing the Armenian constitutional order within the March 1 case, said “Tsarukyan” faction MP Vahe Enfiajyan in an interview.
As for the failure of Robert Kocharyan’s press conference because of civic groups Vahe Enfiajyan said: “We think the second President Robert Kocharyan will have other opportunities to express his opinion and position. As for the freedom of expression, different structures and political teams can conduct their protest actions and express their position”.
Vahe Enfiajyan informed that in the result of discussions in the “Tsarukyan” faction only a general statement on Robert Kocharyan’s case can be made: “At this point we believe legal solutions are needed”.
