The newly-elected City Council session took place at the Yerevan Municipality. 58 city council members were present.
Lilit Pipoyan introduced all the new members of the city council one-by-one. She said that since “My Step” received more than 50 percent of the votes, Hayk Marutyan is to become the mayor.
Hayk Marutyan became mayor, stating that the issues facing the people of Yerevan will be at the center of his attention every day.
