“We lost sleep and rest because my son and nephew were at the frontlines. We read the lists of fallen heroes, but we heard the bad news before we saw the list. My nephew, Eric, had died,” the 18-year-old soldier’s uncle, Armen Petrosyan, told Aravot Daily. Eric was from Yerevan, and he was his parents’ only child. He began his military service 9 months ago.
“He was an intelligent and educated young man. He studied at TUMO. He said to me, ‘Uncle, I’m going to continue when I come back from the army. The whole world is going to talk about me because I will become scientist Eric Petrosyan,’” his uncle said. According to his uncle, the world is speaking about Eric, but now as someone who died a hero in the Artsakh war.
