March 02,2021 22:01

The film created by 11th grade students at the AGBU Manoogian-Demirdjian School was among the top 15 films in the StudentCam competition organized by the Cable-Satellite Public Affairs Network (CSPAN).

The film gives students across the world the opportunity to speak about issues most important to them and to perhaps offer solutions in a film that is between 5-6 minutes long.

Approximately 2,000-3,000 students across the United States and the rest of the world participate in the competition every year.

This year’s competition theme was, “Explore the issue you most want the president and Congress to address in 2021.”

Sofia Gevorgyan and Anahit Malumyan, 11th grade students at the AGBU Manoogian-Demirdjian School, once again spoke about an issue that concerns all Armenians in their film. The most urgent task they discussed in their film was for the US President and the USA to recognize the independence of the Republic of Artsakh.

Voting has opened. It is possible to vote until March 6th at 12:00 Yerevan time.
