The Presidents of Armenia and Estonia had a telephone conversation
The President of the Republic Armen Sarkissian had a telephone conversation with Kersti Kaljulaid, the President of the Republic of Estonia, on the initiative of the Estonian side.
The President of Estonia inquired about the health condition of President Armen Sarkissian and wished him a full recovery.
Presidents Sarkissian and Kaljulaid exchanged views on the prospects of bilateral cooperation, as well as they spoke about the epidemic situation in the two countries, the fight against the coronavirus, and measures to prevent it.

The interlocutors touched upon the after-war realities, the new challenges that emerged, humanitarian and other issues. President Sarkissian considered the return of the Armenian prisoners-of-war held in Azerbaijan, as well as the search of those reported missing of pivotal importance. He stressed that our country expects support from international partners in resolving these essential issues. At the same time, President Armen Sarkissian expressed his concern over the position of the European Union and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization during the war and in the post-war period.
