Double Guinness World Record commemorating those killed in the 44-day war

The firefighter of the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the World champion in power triathlon, the record holder of “Dyutsaznagirk” of Armenia, Zorik Poghosyan from Vanadzor town, set a new record dedicated to the memory of the victims of the 44-day war.

On May 8, Zorik Poghosyan held a 205-kilogram barbell in the squat position near the monument to Zoravar Andranik in Vanadzor for 15 seconds. He squatted with that weight three times. A few minutes later, the firefighter repeated the exercise, this time increasing the weight of the barbell to 210 kilogram. The athlete with that weight squatted five times, setting two world records in one day.
