“There have been no major changes in the border situation since May12-13, except for regular incidents. We had such an incident recently, as a result of which our soldiers were slightly injured,” the governor of Gegharkunik, Gnel Sanosyan said at a press conference in the Shoghakat community on Wednesday. He said that the soldier’s condition is stable, and at the moment, the Russian military is there. According to the governor, Russians will be deployed instead of the Armenian and Azerbaijani armed forces, after which negotiations will take place and adjustments will be made in some areas.
As far as why the press conference was organized in the Shoghakat community, the governor said that after the press conference, the park after Charles Aznavour will be opened, which will be a place of entertainment that plays an important role in the life of the community. Gnel Sanosyan said that the park was built with a subsidy program. Shoghakat is an enlarged community with 6 settlements. According to the governor, 44 programs have been implemented in all settlements. He also said that 6 anti-hail stations have been installed in Shoghakat.
According to him, despite the difficult war and economic problems, road construction projects continued. “We will complete this work in the near future, and we will have a completely new road, which is important strategically and for tourism.”
Gnel Sanosyan drew attention to the fact that during the road construction, the state bodies did not interfere or steal, and normal tenders took place, as a result of which 730 million AMD was saved in the 2 billion 727 million AMD program.
