During a discussion on brainstorming titled “Post-Election Armenia: Realities and Expectations” organized by the Integration and Development NGO and the Eurasian Club of Experts, member of the Eurasian Club of Experts, the head of the Economic Research Center, and economics Ph.D. Ashot Tavadyan announced that it is not enough to say “please make investments” to attract people to invest in Armenia. The current issues need to be resolved, including the absence of a securities market, tax policy, monetary policy, corruption, price of energy resources, security, including economic security, etc.

According to Tavadyan, it is important to use the EEU market opportunities for Armenia’s economic development. For example, economic modernization, the creation of mutual companies, the creation of interstate foundations, regulating the railway from Russia to Armenia via Georgia, and so on.
