The administrative head of Voskepar, Serob Makhsudyan, neither confirmed nor denied news about the deployment of a Russian peacekeeping escort at the end of the Voskepar-Baghanis route. In an interview with Aravot Daily, Mukhsudyan claimed that he is not authorized to provide such information, and only the Ministry of Defense can provide official information.

Information spread that Russian soldiers visited Voskepar with representatives of the Armenian Ministry of Defense and other officials, and a Russian peacekeeping escort will be deployed at the end of the Voskepar-Baghanis route. This location is only 300-350 meters away from the Armenia-Azerbaijan border, and the deployment of a peacekeeping escort can be connected to the surrender of an Azerbaijani enclave in that area.
