The adjusted annual budget was 26 billion 216 million 114.000 AMD for the agricultural programmes of the Ministry of Economy, the performance was 95.38%. On June 3, at the joint sitting of the RA NA Standing Committees on Territorial Administration Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environment and on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs the RA Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan informed about this.
In the reporting year the agricultural gross product was 933 billion AMD. The agricultural GDP reduced by 1.1 percent. As Vahan Kerobyan clarified, the water scarcity was a factor promoting for this indicator.
The rapporteur touched upon the successfully implemented modernization programmes of agriculture. According to him, the main challenge in the agriculture is the enlargement of the agriculture and the increase of productivity.
Vahan Kerobyan answered to deputies’ questions, presented clarifications on the problems related to the grapes procurement in the reporting year and the forecasting situation in 2022.
