– Mr. Hayrikyan, speaking about Artsakh’s right to self-determination, Nikol Pashinyan said that self-determination has always been considered within the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. Is it so?
– Every politician can interpret self-determination in their way, but self-determination is an apparent concept. And it is thanks to the right of self-determination humanity have reached such an abundance of states. And in general, there is no more important principle than the principle of self-determination; self-determination is the most essential and highest right of international law and human rights. And even for the stupid ones, it can be reminded that when they make any statement, for example, they reject Artsakh’s right to self-determination, they are self-determining themselves there.

Now the world, listening to such a slimy, spineless, unwilling figure, chooses the option that suits them. The most principled people even sometimes say in matters that do not concern them: which causes fewer headaches? Now there is a Turkish factor related to Azerbaijan and so on. Recently, he began to declare even more vigorously that I have no right to decide on the issue of Artsakh. In that case, you are clumsy; why did you sign something regarding Artsakh on November 9, 2020?
– He also announced that he has no mandate to decide the fate of the NK people; the Nagorno-Karabakh people should determine the fate of the NK. “I have a mandate to make decisions regarding the Republic of Armenia, but we must take into account the mirror effect of the questions: do the people of the Republic of Armenia agree that Azerbaijan recognizes the territorial integrity of Armenia’s 29.8 thousand square kilometers?” That is what we are talking about. “If anyone thinks that the people of Armenia do not agree that the territorial integrity of 29.8 thousand square kilometers should be recognized, let them say: I do not agree,” said Pashinyan. In other words, he considers the fact that Azerbaijan should recognize the territorial integrity of Armenia as a reflection of the policy of leaving Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan. How do you rate this?
– He is a criminal offender. It is very clearly presented that he violated his legal act three times; as a result of that legal act, huge sums of money were spent, and he was indifferent to this issue. The term given to the Constitutional Reforms Commission ended on June 30. And I received a letter from the Ministry of Justice that they continue to work. A deadline has been set, but if they continue to work, it means that at least 4 million is spent every month. Japan has not recognized Russia’s territorial integrity, and Russia has not recognized Japan’s, so what?
Let him live in the basement with those fears; he has no business with us. Our society delays the solution of the essential issues; look what our opponents have achieved. They reached the point that the political world, showing some degree of consistency for Artsakh’s right to self-determination, is now only concerned with whether the people of Artsakh are starving. The issue was brought down to that level; we now only demand to lift the blockade; he led to this situation.
