Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi at the armed forces parade on the occasion of Sacred Defence Week:
The President described and clarified the unity of the armed forces of our country with the people as a strategic extension of the Islamic Republic in the region and the world, saying, “Today, in the doctrine of the Islamic Republic of Iran, there is no domination over others, but maintaining military readiness with a defensive approach, is the definite policy for stable security and reassuring accountability”.
Dr Raisi pointed out that the powerful armed forces of Iran are present in the region to prevent any changes in the geopolitics of the region and changes in the borders, and they have succeeded in this task, he said, “Regarding the developments in the region, we emphasise that the rights of Armenians and respect for the present Armenians are a necessity, so that the security and rights of Armenians must be maintained in the region and the state of the borders must be fully maintained”.
