TASS. The member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) will have a chance to discuss issues related to attempts to draw Armenia into West’s “orbit” at the union’s summit in May, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has stated at a press conference following his participation in the BRICS ministerial meeting in New Delhi.
“Now, I think, there will be an optimal opportunity to discuss the emerging problems in connection with the fact that the European Union insists on drawing Armenia into its orbit, including at the risk of the benefits that Armenia has through the Eurasian Economic Union. We will have the opportunity to discuss all these issues honestly and frankly at the end of the last week of May, when the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, the summit, takes place in Kazakhstan,” Lavrov said.
