Effective June 1, 2026, the UATE Board has unanimously made a decision to appoint Edita Ghazaryan, the current Deputy CEO of the Union, as the interim Executive Director of the Union of Advanced Technology Enterprises (UATE).
UATE President Armen Kocharyan stated:
“Edita has been at the core of UATE’s activities and community programs for years. She possesses a deep understanding of the organization’s work and has built trusted relationships across our community. The UATE Board expresses full support for Edita Ghazaryan and confidence that her leadership will ensure a smooth and stable transition into the next phase of development.
Edita Ghazaryan has been instrumental in driving UATE’s growth over the past four years, leading community building initiatives, driving strategic partnerships, and expanding the organization’s presence in international markets. She has extensive experience in managing complex, large-scale projects and creating value-driven campaigns, having previously held leading positions in local and international NGOs.

During her four years at UATE, she made significant contributions to the organization’s growth, which today represents over 300 technology companies. Edita holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Yerevan State University and a Master’s degree in Political Science and International Affairs from the American University of Armenia.
The UATE Board extends its sincere gratitude to Sargis Karapetyan, who joined the organization in 2023 and led UATE through a meaningful period of growth.
