Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko has announced that she is stepping down from her post. She wrote, in particular, on Facebook:
“We discussed with the President the challenges facing our country, the changes needed to strengthen the work of the Government, and our relations with international partners.
Today, it is critically important to unite all our efforts and resources to strengthen Ukraine.
I thank every man and woman who is defending Ukrainian soil. Our military are our strength and our independence.

I am ready to continue serving the Ukrainian state and carrying out tasks aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s position, protecting its national interests, and bringing a just peace closer.”
