Aram Manukyan, the leader of the Pan-Armenian National Movement (PANM), showed a list signed by residents of Hrazdan to journalists at the Hayatsk Club today. According to him, they got it secretly, moreover, from the RPA. According to Aram Manukyan, the workers of the joint ownership and housing and communal service went from apartment to apartment and collected signatures as if the residents were informed about the new system of waste management, “It is clearly seen on that list where people live and where they don’t. They are preparing for the upcoming election with that list. Some member of the RPA secretly told me about that. They have always used this method, but now they have made it official. Do they bring you a notice about APPA (mandatory insurance), about electricity payment, it is quite strange.”
Some member of the RPA told Mr. Manukyan another secret, he was told on the election day, “What was done was done yesterday and outside, nothing will go on inside. Really, they would do exactly as I would say in the electoral district, I would tell them to put the ballot box like this, they would do it, to put ballots here and they would do it.”
Aram Manukyan also found out that after the previous election in Hrazdan, 3000 people have been added to the lists, “It is impossible that the population of Armenia has decreased and the population of Hrazdan has increased. People asked me in my district ‘I am from Artashat, I am from Aparan, I am from Abovyan or Charentsavan, let me vote quickly and leave; it is snowing and the roads are closed.’ And the secret why they didn’t put seals is clear, in order that one cannot notice who is from Abovyan, Artashat etc.”
