Iranologist Emma Begijanyan views the terrorist attack in Iran to be conditioned by Ramadan. “DAISH tries to pour blood during Ramadan as much as it can, last year 5000 people in different countries have committed terrorist actions during Ramadan”: told the Iranologist noticing that the terrorists had failed to penetrate into Iran until now and have planned the attack project from the Eastern borders: “Not a sole country can be secured from Islamic caliphate attacks. In publicizing the project planned for Ramadan they had announced that Iran would become a target as well and they actually succeeded to accomplish it.”
According to the Iranologist, Armenia should undertake a serious control on the borders: “If we are not attentive towards the people entering the country, everything will be possible, one cannot exclude anything.”
Mrs. Begijanyan’s viewpoint implied that the handwriting of the terrorist attack taken place in Tehran slightly differed from that of the handwriting of the actions carried out by DAISH, most possibly, they have not had the aim to cause many victims, otherwise, as stated by the Iranologist, they would have made the attack nearby Tehran market, which is crowded: “DAISH members have had the aim to stab in places that are not considered vulnerable, this is why they have chosen the Parliament and the tomb. They had noted in their message that they can instigate Iranian Sunnis to rebel which is impossible, inasmuch as in Iran Sunnis are few in number and are not powerful compared to other sects.”
The most important of what has taken place in Tehran, according to Mrs. Begijanyan, is that despite the terrorist attack, the session in the Parliament has proceeded, that is: “They can provide the security of the Parliament even in those conditions.”
