In April, we will face the threat of party-state, that is, “Serzh-state”. We should not allow the country to become a party-state. What happened to Serzh Sargsyan that he rigged elections after Artsakh? Why doesn’t he understand that this is a tragedy for his country and generations to come?”, referring to the initiation of a velvet revolution in April 2018, in Armenia, at the end of the presidential term, said leader of “Heritage” party Raffi Hovannisian.
He noted that this revolution implies the sovereignty of Armenia, the joining of Artsakh to Armenia. Although there is no clear format, according to Hovannisian, the unification of political forces is necessary, “If Nikol Pashinyan, Aram Sargsyan, Edmon Marukyan, Gagik Tsarukyan, the ARF and some RPA members, and other extra-parliamentary forces, would like to create a new state in the country until April, we are ready”.
According to Raffi Hovannisian, who voted against the new government program, they are opposition, “Gagik Tsarukyan should have stayed in the arena, he shouldn’t have left the people alone, he was wrong, let him confess that, now he is back… this is life and politics”.
