Mkhitaryan swapped places with Alexis Sanchez yesterday, with the Armenian heading to Arsenal. Express reports.

After an unimpressive 18 months at Old Trafford which saw him fall out of favour under Mourinho, Mkhitaryan will be hoping to revitalise his career in north London.

During that time, the 29-year-old won the Europa League and EFL Cup.

And Mourinho insists Mkhitaryan’s goal in the Europa League final over Ajax ensures he will never forgotten.

“I would like to wish Henrikh all the success and happiness that I am sure he is going to get,” Mourinho told the club’s official website.
