Yesterday the questions on the agenda of the enhanced session of the Board of the Union of “Yerkrapah” Volunteers were connected with ceasing Manvel Grigoryan’s liabilities and holding an extraordinary conference.
It was decided to hold the session without the presence of media and to publish the text of the decision for the journalists at the end. After heated discussions taken place for a few hours, the Vice President of the Union of “Yerkrapah” Volunteers, Hamlet Hayrapetyan came out and read out the statement: “1. The Board of the Union of “Yerkrapah” Volunteers, discussing the latest events thoroughly, severely condemns what has taken place as well as any impermissible deed taking place in the country. It ceases the liabilities of the President of the Union. The Board of the Union orders the Vice Presidents and Members of the Board of the Union to create an initiating group, to organize a session of the Union on reasonable terms to convene a conference.”
Hamlet Hayrapetyan did not wish to clearly give Manvel Grigoryan’s name while answering the journalists’ questions, saying that they condemn any impermissible deed in the country.
