Azerbaijani side has spread information as if they have stopped an attempt of sabotage penetration in Kazakh district from Armenian side and taken “Armenian spy”, Karen Ghazaryan, born in 1984, into a hostage.

We inform you that the news does not comply with the reality at all. It is a misinformation.

Karen Ghazaryan is a resident in Berdavan village, Tavush Region, the Republic of Armenia, which is located nearby the border. Karen Ghazaryan does not have any connection with military service. He has health issues and has been registered in the respective hospital since 2013.

The circumstances of Karen Ghazaryan appearing in Azerbaijan are being found out.
