Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan received the director of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) European and North Atlantic Regional Office, Nicholas Rallo.
During the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister presented the current situation in the aviation sector in the Republic of Armenia, the problems and the reforms being implemented in the sector by the Government.
Mher Grigoryan informed Nicholas Rallo about the structural changes being made in the aviation field of the Republic of Armenia, the mechanisms introduced aimed at attracting qualified specialists in the field, and the infrastructural programs.
The interlocutors also discussed the opportunities for raising the cooperation between the Armenian aviation authorities and the International Civil Aviation Organization to a new level, possible use of technical and financial tools available to ICAO by Armenia, and other issues related to the sector.

At the end of the meeting, the interlocutors agreed to intensify the cooperation between the relevant departments and the ICAO.
