According to the tripartite statement of November 9, 2020, “Lachin Corridor (5 km wide), which will ensure the connection of Nagorno-Karabakh with Armenia and bypass the city of Shushi at the same time, remains under the control of the peacekeeping forces of the Russian Federation. And by placing a checkpoint in the Lachin Corridor, Azerbaijan violated the provisions of that statement”.
During Aravot’s “Areresum” (“Confrontation”) program, to the question of whether we can say that this document has become nothing, Andranik Tevanyan, a member of the “Hayastan” faction, specifically answered: “The absurdity is that Nikol Pashinyan transferred the implementation of the agreement of November 9, which was signed in the Moscow-Baku-Yerevan triangle, to the Western platform within the framework of the “Washington plan.” Why is it absurd? -because on the ground, in the real field, Russian peacekeepers are represented in Artsakh.
On the ground, the most important component of our security is our relationship with Russia. But in real life, the West does not promise anything; the EU observers also said that they are in the Tegh, but they are not in Tegh territory, in an ambiguous sense. And, as a matter of fact, not only Azerbaijan left the agreement of November 9, but also Armenia”.
Armen Grigoryan, Secretary of the RA Security Council, referring to the criticism that the current government is also one of the culprits of the created situation, as it has held meetings and discussions with the West on this issue, told the Public Television that the critics, in this case, refer to Russia as a non-serious state.

“If any state will subordinate its strategic interests to a person or persons in any country, then it is not a state for me. The only power in Nagorno-Karabakh is the Russian Federation, and the government and population there are pro-Russian. Then why are they being punished? There was no anti-Russian sentiment in Nagorno-Karabakh, at least until recently.”
The other program guest, Avetik Chalabyan, a member of the board of the «Consolidation” movement, specifically said in this regard. “Toxic relations have formed between the current government of Armenia and the leadership of the Russian Federation. They are playing a dirty game with each other, and our people of Artsakh constantly suffer from it.”
