MISUNDERSTANDING

Yesterday the meeting held by “Alternative” public-political initiative, in which other parties out of “Alternative” initiative were also taking part, “New Times”, “Republic”, was over by a procession to the Radio House where the Council of Public TV and Radio is situated. The participants of the procession were asking to provide for the freedom of the speech not only for the pro-authority powers but for the opposition, too. The licensed meeting didn\’t pass without any incident. The policemen made the participants to walk on terrace on Sayat-Nova Street. But the participants explained that if their number would be more than 1000 they\’d have to walk on a part of the street.
But the policemen didn\’t know about it.
