“Such a good situation has been created for preparing for the campaign that they find not violations of the law or big mistakes made by the Republican Party, but misprints,” Galust Sahakyan, the leader of the RPA faction, commented on the misspellings in the RPA list for proportional representation in this manner during a conversation with www.aravot.am. In his words, the Central Electoral Commission has not informed about the misspellings in their list, “If we had received, we would have corrected. There are not misspellings, there are misprints – certainly, there can be such. I think there could have been such a thing in all lists, but the subject matter should necessarily be our party, because the propaganda of all parties is basically connected to the Republican Party, they try to discredit the Republican Party, as much as they can, in order to open their way. If there were misprints in the names, then there are a lot of candidates on the list, whose passports contained misprints and the law provides for registering in the same way as in passports.”
