Today during a plenary meeting of the PACE summer session, Naira Zohrabyan, a representative of the Armenian delegation, asked Sali Berisha, the Albanian Prime Minister whose country has taken over the presidency of the CE Committee of Ministers, “Serbia had not recognized Kosovo’s independence, nonetheless, it has had a dialogue with Kosovo. What steps will you take during Albania’s presidency in order that Azerbaijan commences a direct dialogue with Nagorno-Karabakh government?”
In response to this question, the Albanian Prime Minister stated that they supported the Committee of Ministers’ stance on that issue and the CE decisions to assist in building democratic institutions in the region.
