“I am waiting and thinking, along with you, whether those pathetic 44 signatures will be collected, in order that this very non-pathetic and very alarming issue is put forward and considered by the National Assembly,” actor Ashot Adamyan said during a conversation with www.aravot.am, in response to our question whether, in his opinion, 44 signatures necessary to convene a National Assembly extraordinary session and to establish a special commission, would be collected, nonetheless.

In his words, “If the PAP MPs continue to rest in this alarming situation, they may not manage to do that, which will be very sad.” In response to our question whether he meant Naira Zohrabyan’s explanation, he said, “Yes, that explanation is very strange to me. They have gone on vacation and you know what our country is alarmed, but they rest, anyway. What alarm are you talking about, when we have to leave for Dubai or Antalya or I-don’t-know-where – Sevan or even Dilijan,” Mr. Adamyan mocked the PAP.
In response to our observation that it might be an escape, Mr. Adamyan said, “That explanation doesn’t suffice me, I don’t know, let them think of it whether it is an escape or an explanation. I don’t care whether it is an escape or I-don’t-know-what. I will just assert whether they have escaped or have raised an issue at last.”
We tried to get clarification whether it would also show in what camp the PAP really was, Mr. Adamyan replied, “Certainly, only deeds. I think their leader says that they match their words with their deeds. Once I see the deed, I will know what their word is worth.”
