A proxy voted for Serzh Sargsyan in the voter’s stead without asking him
“Mister, you are voting for the Republican Party, aren’t you?” once a girl said this in Nor Kharberd’s 16/41 polling station today, she marked the ballot and sent the voter to the ballot box. The voter just asked for help, the chairman of the commission picked a voter whom he knew and instructed to assist. The voter didn’t say whom he would vote for at all, he made grimaces of hesitation; the proxy made the decision by herself and made the mark. In response to our question how she had determined whom she should vote for, since she hadn’t even gotten the voter’s answer, let alone the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), while no party participated, the proxy started to claim that the old man had told her. “Mister, you wanted to vote for the RPA, didn’t you?”
