Skirmish in the daytime is not purely an Armenian phenomenon. Those who are trying to present this as a local peculiarity and an indicator of destruction of our country are falling into exaggerations, probably, for propaganda purposes. In different countries of the world, including in the most advanced, excessively democratic, and overly legitimate, there are also shootings in the daytime, more often with tragic consequences. It also happens to Armenia, let’s recall even if Vahan Zatikyan’s son, Sedrak’s, murder on June 22, 2006, at which, unfortunately, there was also a random victim.
Thus, there is no political problem here. However, there is a very serious social problem. When a distracted enters a school in the U.S. with a self-firing gun and opens fire on the teachers and children, we are dealing with pathologies common in the West. When criminal elements in different countries are shooting at each other for money, this popularly is called a “gangland-style shoot-out”. But this Vernissage or “Tetsi circle” similar incidents have no logical explanation. This is an Armenian or perhaps a regional pathology.
People like Yuvetsi Karo’s son-in-law are not maniac murderers, nor Mafiosi, they are just “good guys”, “man of dignity”, and for the sake of their pathological “principles”, they are ready to not only kill people, but also eliminate the entire human race. Such a character is, for example, the former mayor of Gyumri Vardan Ghukasyan’s son, Spartak, the Governor of Syunik marz with his entire family, and so on. Keeping and using guns in such circles is a tool for self-affirmation and preservation of the criminal traditions of their “daddies” and “father-in-laws-daddies”. Recall that on October 5, 2010, Yuvetsi, entering into a shoot-out with someone named Artur Zadoyan, has shot 5 times in his direction, anyway, naturally, he evaded the responsibility.
To wrap up the political theme, let me say that I do not understand Yuvetsi as a PAP member. Nor as a legislator. Just like Karamel and Sheriff from the same faction, Shmays, Tokhmakh or Burnash from RPA. And thus, many others. It does not matter for them by which “quota” they intruded into the National Assembly to “handle” their deals. It is sad that they transfer their pathologies to the next generations.

As for the shots in Vernissage, then be sure that the case will be concealed. Like the case of shootings in front of Liska’s house. They will document it as a self-defense by Yuvetsi’s son-in-law.
