On September 9, the “Counterblow” art group decided to remind that 13 years ago, at “Aragast” café, Aghamal Harutyunyan, a bodyguard of the then president Robert Kocharyan, beat the citizen of Georgia, Poghos Poghosyan, to death for the latter when greeting the President had said, “Hello Rob!” The “Counterblow’s” action was called accordingly, “Hello Rob!” the poster with the content was posted on the fence of the National Assembly.
Reminder, as it turned out during the action, was very appropriate because it had aroused memories of the so-called “Kocharyan times” when the bodyguards with a bull-shape appearance, “skinheads” bodyguards and criminal elements were attacking the citizens, throwing eggs during the opposition rallies and obstructing the work of journalists. In recent years, these cases have been reduced, but not stopped, and the incident occurred on Tuesday is the confirmation of it.
Whether the members of the “Counterblow” broke the law by posting of poster on the fence of the National Assembly or not, it was not the task of the moment to be covered by the journalists. They were just covering the event, the action. And the continuation of the event was that a nervous man came out of the building of the National Assembly and took off the poster. The man, probably, considered low of his dignity to be introduced by his name, but later it became clear that he was the Head of the National Assembly Security Service, Karen Hayrapetyan.
Again, it is not essential whether he did it right by taking off the poster or not. It is important that all of that was recorded, the journalists were doing their job. There were also men among the photographers, but K. Hayrapetyan was seeking for his “masculine self-determination” in somewhere else. He moved his one tone body to a 20-year-old “A1+” journalist with scrawny build-up, Marine Khachatryan, and after a few attempts, threw her recording device down. Marine, as required, had a media “badge” (the content of which, the brave security employee could read, if literate), and was not violating the public order, she was not say anything, just shooting.

K. Hayrapetyan, evidently, broke the law, obstructing the work of the journalist, for which he must be judged. Similarly, it is evident that he will not be judged, the police would find an “excuse”, no one complains, so we do not file a case, even though the video is absolutely sufficient. It is clear that he is an employee of the same “bureau”. K. Hayrapetyan will not only miss being judged, moreover, he will continue to heroically defend the security of the National Assembly, moreover, he might also be awarded for attacking the 20-year-old girl.
In short, he will “slip out”. This kind of heroes have “slipped out”?
