-Armenians in Armenia recently sent help to Armenian soldiers in Artsakh. The assistance was allocated to Artsakh in trucks by President of the Union of Syrian-Armenians NGO Nerses Gevo, who was accompanied by several Syrian-Armenians.
“Like everyone else, the Syrian-Armenians in Armenia also want to do their best to help Artsakh and stand with the Armenian Army. They collected food, pastries, clothes and military shoes with care and even sent money,” President of the Union of Syrian-Armenians NGO Nerses Gevo said in an interview with Hayern Aysor and added that the assistance had been provided to the relevant bodies during an April 30 meeting with Minister of Defense of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Levon Mnatsakanyan.
Nerses Gevo added that he and the other Syrian-Armenians were cordially received by the NKR Minister of Defense, who granted the certificate of appreciation of the NKR Ministry of Defense for the organization’s patriotic act.
The president of the Union of Syrian-Armenians NGO also thanked the boys from Aparan who were accompanying him and who had expressed the willingness to help the organization throughout the trip.
