Armenia’s MFA has not yet received any response from the Russian MFA regarding the prohibition of the political scientist Stepan Grigoryan to enter RF. We would like to remind that Stepan Grigoryan’s entry to the RF was banned on 29 August until 2030.
Whether a principle of reciprocity common in the diplomatic relations will be applied towards any RF citizen, especially since Stepan Grigoryan has acted with the same urging. Shavarsh Kocharyan noted that it is the right of any country to use appropriate steps even without giving any explanation, “Simply this case is unique in the sense that such a move was firstly used in the relations between Armenia and Russia, there has been such a precedent. Therefore, we have applied to the RF MFA and are expecting an answer.”
