Publications have appeared in the press the PAP extraordinary congress will be held in November, during which PAP will create a new position by the PAP Charter: a Chairman of the PAP Political Council, and in this Congress, Gagik Tsarukyan will become the Chairman of the PAP political Council, while Naira Zohrabyan will remain in the position of PAP party leader.
Aravot.am asked the PAP faction secretary, Vahe Enfiajyan, whether there is such an agenda item, Mr. Enfiajyan replied, “Prior to publishing such information, it would not be difficult to open the PAP Charter and see that since the establishment of PAO, since 2006, our Charter has already affixed the positions of the PAP leader and the chairman of political council. Previously, Gagik Tsarukyan was the PAP leader and the Chairman of the Political Council, now, it is Naira Zohrabyan.”
Bach to the publications on Gagik Tsarukyan’s occupying the position of a chairman of political council, Vahe Enfiajyan explained, “When Mr. Tsarukyan makes a decision to return to the politics, he will again be the PAP party leader and the Chairman of the Political Council, this is also Naira Zohrabyan’s desire.”
